Figma & Netlight

A dedicated safer space for Asian Descent

Stereotypes often shape perceptions and experiences, influencing everything from career progression to workplace dynamics. Inspired to start a supportive community, on March 5th, Figma and Netlight will co-host their first Asian Descent event, bringing together professionals to explore the unique challenges and opportunities of navigating stereotypes and shaping careers in different industries.

This event provides a space to reflect on these challenges, share stories, and learn from each other about how to break through biases and build thriving careers. Through insightful discussions, we'll uncover how these dynamics manifest in diverse industries and identify strategies for fostering inclusivity and empowerment in professional spaces.

Networking will be at the heart of the evening, offering participants the chance to connect with peers, exchange perspectives, and build a supportive community.

How do we navigate and challenge stereotypes to create more equitable environments? What actionable steps can we take to drive change in our respective fields? Let’s come together, share experiences, and shape a more inclusive future.
