The Code Pub Oslo is back!

Dear Code Pub friends

We are once again up for a evening getting together, mingling, expanding our network and sharing knowledge, this time with an evening all about Docker! We will welcome you on the 7th of June and are looking forward to enjoying an awesome evening with you at the Netlight office 🦄

We have joined forces with inspiring women to create an event with very special speakers and a highly worklife-relevant workshop, covering some aspects of how you can apply rather simple docker-compose configurations to expand an application running in cooperative docker containers. After this event the magic happening behind the fairly well-known docker compose up command will be history.

Whether you´re are a big docker enthusiast who is wondering how to get started in this exciting field, or an expert with years of experience under your belt who would love to share the knowledge and meet like-minded women, we encourage you to join and enjoy this evening with us!

On the 7th of June you:

  • will learn how to exploit Docker Desktop (and terminal commands) to debug your way through expanding a multi-container environment
  • can discuss the topic with others
  • will have inspirational exchanges while networking with people from other underrepresented genders in tech
  • get awesome food & delicious drinks at our office located in the center of Oslo

This event is organized by

Code Pub Oslo

We are an international meet-up for underrepresented genders in the male-dominant IT world who want to learn more about IT and open for beginners as well as professionals. Our goal is empowering every woman and non-binary people in the tech industry by creating a platform where one can be inspired and inspire others. The Code Pub was created by Netlight in the spring of 2013 with the purpose of increasing the number of women in the IT industry. By lowering the threshold for getting started with programming and highlighting female role models within IT, we believe that we can make a difference. In order to have a bigger impact on the entire industry we work together with other cool IT companies and they will be hosting occasional The Code Pub meet-ups.

Netlight Consulting

Netlight is a genuine IT-consulting firm.

We know that if we want to be part if the forefront of digitalization, we have to rely on people. That is why we have an organisation built on trust and responsibility, with a comprehensive personal development program that works without bosses. Ever wondered how that works?

When our consultants work on-site with our local-only clients (no travelling needed #sustainability), they have all of Netlight’s combined (tech) knowledge available (more than 1800 Netlight across Europe), never afraid of turning to each other for input- because knowledge sharing, diverse experiences, equality and personal values are what working at Netlight is about.

For us competence has no gender.
