29 September 2022 17:30Netlight Hamburg

Let's explore an important topic together with the female and non-binary in tech community in Hamburg!

On the 29th of September, we will explore & learn more about Green & Sustainable IT! 🔎💡🌱

The two big initiatives for women and non-binary in tech "The Code Pub Hamburg" and "develop<HER>" join forces for this event and pool their knowledge and network. 🙌 You can look forward to an after-work event with a lot of knowledge sharing, a rather explorative approach and a lot of inspiration. And you will meet great like-minded females and non-binary in tech.

While having some vegan finger food and delicious drinks we will get to know each other and work in smaller groups on different topics concerning sustainability, ethics and IT. 🌱 For that we will set up six tables - one for each topic - and you get to choose two of your that you want to learn more about or share your knowledge! Every table has an inspirer/expert, who worked on the topic before and will work together with you in small groups - like in a "World Café".  🤗

We will discuss, co-create & learn about these topics:

  • Sustainable Programming with Anja Luber (Business Intelligence Analyst @ Otto Group Solution Provider)
  • Responsible Innovation with Birte Herrmann (IT Consultant @ Netlight)
  • Sustainable Products in IT with Friederike Müller & Jessica de Lafuente Torres (Leads of develop<HER> @ Otto)
  • Digital Social Innovation with Inga Kempfert (IT Consultant @ Netlight)
  • KI & Ethics: Could artificial intelligence help to follow and implement ethical principles? with Ariadne Riga (Head of B2B Risk Management @ Otto Market)

Code Pub Hamburg

We are an international meet-up for women and non-binary people who want to learn more about IT and open for beginners as well as professionals. Our goal is empowering every woman and non-binary people in the tech industry by creating a platform where one can be inspired and inspire others. The Code Pub was created by Netlight in the spring of 2013 with the purpose of increasing the number of women and non-binary in the IT industry. By lowering the threshold for getting started with programming and highlighting female role models within IT, we believe that we can make a difference. In order to have a bigger impact on the entire industry we work together with other cool IT companies and they will be hosting occasional The Code Pub meet-ups.

develop<HER>
