A Hands-On Campfire Session
This year, the Lufthansa Group Digital Hangar, Netlight and the Frankfurt Data Science community invite you to a hands-on data meetup with campfire sessions, where we spark ideas on all things AI.
On September 17th 2025, we'll bring together bright minds to explore cutting-edge insights and hands-on solutions. Like every great campfire, this evening is about connection and uniting experts and industry leaders to inspire and learn from one another.
Expect an interactive mix of engaging talks and hands-on workshops designed to leave you with practical takeaways. Whether you're here to gain insights or exchange ideas, this is your chance to drive change and professional growth.
Join us as we turn up the heat on innovation - we will see you by the fire!

Christian Haude & Rosa-Maria KernCampfire 2: How does AI Impact (y)our Customer?
AI is reshaping how businesses interact with customers, sometimes in visible ways, often behind the scenes. In this campfire, we’ll explore how AI influences customer experience, trust, satisfaction, and expectations. From personalization to automation, we’ll discuss both the opportunities and unintended consequences of AI-driven touchpoints. Join us to reflect on how AI is shaping (y)our customer relationships, and what that means for designing meaningful, human-centered experiences.
Christian-Heiko Ritter & Shirley HeCampfire 3: Agentic AI
Agentic AI systems, capable of autonomous decision-making, goal setting, and task execution are pushing the boundaries of what AI can do. In this technically focused campfire, we’ll dive into the architecture, capabilities, and limitations of agent-based AI models. We’ll explore use cases, discuss emerging frameworks, and examine how autonomy, planning, and reasoning are being embedded into AI workflows. Join us to exchange insights on the practical implementation of Agentic AI and its implications for future system design.
Daniel Onumbu & David RochholzCampfire 4: AI Scaling & Adoption Strategy
AI is no longer just an experimental tool in the corner of the business—it’s becoming a central driver of transformation at scale. In this campfire, we’ll explore what it really takes for large organizations to move from pilot projects to enterprise-wide AI adoption. From aligning strategy and infrastructure to fostering cultural readiness and managing risk, we’ll discuss the opportunities, challenges, and trade-offs of scaling AI. Join us to share stories, lessons, and pitfalls, and to reflect on how scaling AI can unlock impact across the organization—while keeping agility, ethics, and people at the core.
